Happy 4th to everyone.
As is tradition, we will be heading down to my hometown of Pawleys Island for the weekend.
We are planning on catching the annual Pawleys Island 4th of July Parade. Raegan liked the parade last year, but I think this year she will really love it! Probably going to hang out with my brothers and their families and have a pool party and cookout!

DMB in Charlotte

Just like the old days, Dave Matthews Band at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre.

I saw DMB at this venue in Charlotte every year from 1995 until about 2002 or so. Back in the college days before marriage, careers, children and life set in. I am looking forward to returning and seeing the band again.

I just read some unfortunate news that DMB's long time sax player, LeRoi Moore was seriously injured in an ATV accident this weekend and is in serious condition. Jeff Coffin from Bella Fleck will be filling in. I hope LeRoi recovers soon.

Ray Beasley 1973-2008 RIP

Debra's younger brother Ray was tragically killed in a car accident June 26th, 2008.
He was only 35 years old.
RIP my friend.

And So it Begins......

So I have taken the plunge and started a blog. For someone who is considered a bit of tech geek, I have stayed away from the masses and avoided Blogs, myspace, etc.. I did start a myspace page a while back, but I never visit that site. I hate Myspace, it is evil. We even have it blocked here at work for all of our users.

But, now that we have a 3 year old and another on the way, this might be the best way to communicate with family and friends. My Sister in law started one a while back, http://cagallup.blogspot.com. Tom, one of my best friends and fellow IT colleague has one, http://uscboy.blogspot.com.
